Summary

Taiwan's Entrepreneur Visa is for foreign entrepreneurs and startup teams that have a strong innovation basis and plan to develop a business in Taiwan.

The route can fit founders with startup funding, incubator or accelerator support, patents, awards, or other approved innovation evidence. It is not simply a passive investment visa, and Taiwan does not require the company to be formed before the first application.

Eligibility

What This Route Allows

If approved, this route gives you startup residence in Taiwan. Key limit: The file needs one accepted innovation basis, such as TWD 2 million funding, incubator or startup-park recommendation, patent, award or shortlist, competent-authority recommendation, or a TWD 1 million investment in an innovative Taiwan company.

What This Route Is Not

This is not a guarantee of approval. Immigration authorities can still review documents, admissibility, background, funds, and whether the facts match the pathway rules.
