Summary
Taiwan's Entrepreneur Visa is for foreign entrepreneurs and startup teams that have a strong innovation basis and plan to develop a business in Taiwan.
The route can fit founders with startup funding, incubator or accelerator support, patents, awards, or other approved innovation evidence. It is not simply a passive investment visa, and Taiwan does not require the company to be formed before the first application.

- You have at least one qualifying innovation or startup basis, such as:
- venture-capital or approved platform fundraising of at least TWD 2 million

- a recognized startup, design, fashion, film, or similar award/shortlist

What This Route Allows
