Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: May 1, 2026

This service is operated by Enavox Corporation d/b/a Citizeo ("Citizeo", "we", "us", or "our"). We respect your right to control your personal data. You may request deletion of your account, discovery answers, uploaded documents, consultation requests, and other personal information associated with your Citizeo account, subject to the exceptions below.

How to Request Data Deletion

To request deletion of your account and personal information associated with your account, send an email to:

privacy@citizeo.com

Please send the request from the email address associated with your Citizeo account and include the following:

  • Subject line: Data Deletion Request
  • Your full name as it appears on your account
  • The login method you used (e.g., Facebook, email)

We may ask for additional information to verify your identity before processing the request. If you only want to stop marketing emails, you can use the unsubscribe link in those emails instead of deleting your account.

What We Delete

Upon verifying and processing your request, we will delete or de-identify personal information we control, including:

  • Your account profile and contact details
  • Your account authentication record, where technically available to us
  • Discovery answers
  • Pathway matches and dismissed pathways
  • Saved pathways, preferences, and activity history
  • Uploaded documents and attachments
  • Consultation or specialist request records, where deletion is not restricted by retention needs
  • Support or help requests, where deletion is not restricted by retention needs
  • Data received from third-party login providers, where technically available to us

Once deletion is complete, your account, discovery history, pathway matches, and uploaded materials may not be recoverable.

Partner and Specialist Records

If your information has already been shared with a partner firm, immigration professional, or specialist at your request, we will delete the information we control. That third party may retain its own copy under its own privacy policy, professional obligations, and legal requirements. You may need to contact them directly to request deletion from their systems.

What We May Retain

In limited circumstances, we may retain certain information as required or permitted by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as:

  • Records necessary to comply with legal or regulatory obligations
  • Fraud, security, and audit logs
  • Payment or transaction records
  • Records needed to resolve disputes or enforce agreements
  • Partner referral or consultation records needed for business accounting, compliance, or legal claims
  • Anonymized or aggregated data that can no longer identify you

Deleted data may remain in encrypted backups or disaster-recovery systems for a limited period until those backups are overwritten, but we will not use that data for active service purposes.

Processing Time

We aim to acknowledge requests within 5 business days and complete verified deletion requests within 30 days, unless a longer period is permitted or required by law. If additional time is needed, we will notify you of the reason and expected timeline.
