Summary

Fiji's student permit lets international students live in Fiji for qualifying secondary, higher-education, or vocational courses, supported by the institution's acceptance and course details. Primary schooling in Years 1–8 is outside the published student-permit category.

Applicants must also document tuition, living support, housing and any required guardian or sponsor arrangements. The permission follows the approved studies and is not a work permit. Student time should not be assumed to count toward every later citizenship route.

What This Route Allows

It is not a work permit, permanent residence, or time that automatically counts toward every later citizenship application.
