Summary

Trinidad and Tobago’s skilled-national route lets qualifying citizens of participating Caribbean Single Market and Economy states use an accepted occupation and verified CARICOM Skills Certificate to obtain a work-permit exemption. That process supports the work-permit exemption. A passport from a CARICOM country alone does not establish the skilled-national category.
