Eligibility
The applicant must be the sponsor's parent or grandparent. The sponsor must hold Trinidad and Tobago citizenship or resident status, reside in Trinidad and Tobago, and document the ability and commitment to support the applicant. The applicant must also satisfy lawful-entry, character, and documentary requirements.

What This Route Is Not
This is not a general route for every relative. Siblings, cousins, adult children, and other relationships do not fit section 6(1)(b) merely because a family member lives in Trinidad and Tobago.
