Admission to a qualifying higher-education course in Tuvalu can support an application for student residence.

Admission to a real local institution and qualifying course
Support
Adequate funds or accepted sponsorship, accommodation, and departure arrangements
Documents
Form 3, passport, photographs, and requested health and character records

Summary

Students accepted by a qualifying institution can seek permission to live in Tuvalu for their studies, but the course must actually be available locally and support residence. Enrollment details should be matched with funding or sponsorship, accommodation, and plans for departure.

The Permit to Enter and Reside is requested through Form 3 with the required personal evidence. Ordinary visitor conditions do not allow study. Permission can last up to one year, and a longer course requires further approval before the current stay ends.
