The government FAQ broadly allows people seeking an extended stay to apply. The application asks why you want to live there, how long you want to stay, and about your financial resources and personal history. These are matters for review, not a published formula that guarantees residence.

The checklist asks for current financial evidence, such as a bank statement, or a support letter from an individual or employer. An employer sponsoring someone who will work locally accepts financial responsibility. There is no fixed minimum income in the published checklist; that does not mean any amount will be accepted.

Prepare your passport, photographs, police record, medical evidence, and applicable birth or marriage records. Document certification and translation requirements matter. Ask which records each accompanying family member needs; your application does not automatically cover the household.

The government's additional-document notice also lists tax and National Insurance compliance records, plus registration and compliance records for companies. Confirm which records apply to your circumstances.

What This Route Allows

If approved, you can reside in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines for the period and on the conditions stated in the permit. Confirm its expiry date and renewal requirements before planning a longer stay.

What This Route Is Not

Residence permission is not work permission. A local job or self-employed activity needs the appropriate authorization unless an exemption applies. Do not assume overseas employment creates a remote-work exemption.

This is not citizenship or immediate permanent residence. Qualifying regional citizens may have separate movement rights that should be checked first.
