Your role must be with a recognized religious organization. Its authorized representative must provide an introduction letter describing your duties, where you will serve, and how your living costs and accommodation will be covered. The Secretariat of Worship must certify the letter.

You also need identity documents, proof of lawful entry and address, and any required criminal-record certificates.

What This Route Allows

The published service describes one year of renewable temporary residence. Certain clergy and ministers are exempt from the immigration fee; the exemption does not cover every applicant automatically.

What This Route Is Not

Membership of a religion or ordinary volunteering is not enough. Arrange your immigration appointment through the Secretariat of Worship; this category does not use the usual online RaDEX application.
