Haiti Work Residence

Haiti Residency
Pathway overview

At a glance

A local employer can support an application to live and work in Haiti, subject to the required employment and residence approvals.

Job
An actual supported local position
Requirements
An employer or authorized organization can support a Haiti residence application. Salaried foreign work also requires the appropriate labor authorization; residence and permission to work are separate.

Summary

Haiti’s employment-based residence route lets an overseas worker live there for a specific local role. A Haitian employer or authorized organization must support the role and application. Salaried work by a foreign national also needs the appropriate labor authorization. Complete both parts before employment begins; permission to enter or reside is not itself permission to work.
