Norway Seasonal Worker Permit
At a glance
Norway permits adults with a confirmed full-time seasonal job or holiday-replacement job to work temporarily. Normal Norwegian pay, employer checks, and limits on time in Norway apply.
- Age
- At least 18
- Job offer required?
- Yes; a confirmed full-time seasonal job or qualifying holiday-replacement position
- Pay and return plans
- Norwegian pay standards and credible plans to leave when the authorized stay ends
Summary
Adults with an approved full-time seasonal job or qualifying holiday-replacement position can seek temporary permission to live and work in Norway. The work must fit that category and meet Norwegian pay and employer-verification requirements; it is not based on a plan to arrive and seek work.
The stay is limited to six months in twelve, with reasons to return home relevant to the application. This permission does not build permanent-residence time or provide an accompanying-family entitlement. The actual job requirements matter even though no vocational qualification is universally required.
