Summary

Uganda’s student pass lets students live in the country for their studies with support from the institution, which supplies an admission letter, current student ID, and supporting letter. The applicant also supplies evidence of tuition payment and the required personal records before relying on the pass for the study stay.

Published student-pass categories cover three, six, or twelve months. The chosen period and any renewal should match the actual course and continuing enrollment, rather than being assumed from the tuition payment alone.

Eligibility

Gather the admission letter, current student ID, school support letter, and tuition receipt listed in the published checklist. Your passport must have at least six months left before it expires, and you need evidence of your current immigration status.

  2. Gather admission, student-ID, tuition-payment, financial-support, and personal records.
  3. Complete the required entry and pass applications, and renew before expiry while enrolled.
