  2. Complete the study visa application The sponsor arranges the required invitation or guarantee.
  3. Register your stay and check card eligibility Complete residence registration and any separate temporary-residence-card application.

A course offer, a study visa, and a temporary residence card are separate parts of the process.

What This Route Allows

A DH visa can permit a study stay of up to one year. An eligible student may obtain a temporary residence card for up to five years, limited by the course, sponsorship, and passport validity. These are maximum periods, not guaranteed durations.

What This Route Is Not

Student permission is not a work permit, permanent residence, or citizenship. Enrollment does not automatically authorize employment.
