Summary

Saudi Arabia's limited-duration Premium Residency lets approved applicants live in the country for a chosen number of years in return for the program fee. Its fee is separate from an investment, and the rules allow a discount for qualifying advance payment of several years.

The application also examines financial means, background, health, identity, and lawful immigration status. Paying the fee alone is insufficient. Before the paid period ends, the holder must renew or obtain another valid status to continue living in Saudi Arabia.

You also need to show that you have enough money to meet the program's financial requirements. Passport, background, medical, and legal immigration-status requirements apply.

Plan to renew or qualify for another status before the paid period ends. The authority must approve your application; being able to pay the fee does not guarantee approval.

What This Route Allows

If approved, you can live in Saudi Arabia for the period granted and apply to renew under the program's rules. Qualifying family members may join you. The program provides the economic rights set out in its regulations and generally lets you enter and leave Saudi Arabia without an ordinary employer-sponsored residence arrangement.

What This Route Is Not

This is paid residence for a set period, not Saudi citizenship or a guarantee of a later citizenship grant. Other Premium Residency options have different rights, lengths, and continuing requirements.
