Summary
Taiwan's Employment Gold Card is a combined work permit, resident visa, Alien Resident Certificate, and re-entry permit for qualified foreign professionals. It is especially useful because it does not require a sponsoring employer.
Applicants qualify through one professional field and must provide evidence that matches that field's rule. Covered fields include areas such as technology, digital, science, economy, finance, law, education, culture, sport, architecture, biotechnology, environment, and national defense.
