Summary

The residence file also establishes household support, the sponsor's continuing permission, and the applicant's lawful entry and filing position. Work rights require their own assessment, and submitting the family application does not itself allow an existing visa to be overstayed.

What This Route Allows

An approved application provides temporary residence for the family purpose under the conditions and period granted. Continuing permission depends on the relevant family and sponsor basis remaining in place. A change in that basis may require a different application.

What This Route Is Not

This is not a residence right for every relative of anyone living in Ukraine. It does not replace a permanent-immigration application or confer citizenship. Work rights require separate assessment, and an application must not be treated as permission to overstay an existing visa.
