Uzbekistan Work Visa
At a glance
An Uzbek employer can support the visa and work authorization needed for an eligible job. You must complete the required approvals or establish an applicable exemption before relying on the offer as permission to work.
- Job offer required?
- Yes, with employer support for the application
- Key records
- Proposed contract and salary, identity, and qualifications
- Work approval
- The authority reviews the role and local labor conditions; any claimed work-approval exemption needs evidence
Summary
If an employer hires you in Uzbekistan, it can support the work authorization and visa needed for the job. The government must approve the required permission to employ you unless a documented exemption applies.
A job offer or visa-free visit does not, by itself, let you start work.
Eligibility
You need an eligible job and an employer willing to support the application. For the ordinary process, called confirmation of the right to work, prepare the proposed contract showing your salary, identity and qualification records, and other required documents.
The authority considers the role and labor-market conditions. Ask the employer to confirm the right process and provide evidence of any exemption. Do not assume an exemption applies simply because of your nationality or permission to visit.
-
Confirm the job and required work process The employer checks ordinary work confirmation or a documented exemption.
-
Prepare the employment and personal records Include the proposed contract, salary, qualifications, and passport.
-
Complete approvals before starting work Obtain the required visa and work permission and complete registration.
A job offer and permission to enter the country do not replace work authorization.
What This Route Allows
The approved visa and work authorization allow the specified job for the permitted period. Keep both sets of documents current and follow the employment, immigration, registration, and renewal conditions.
What This Route Is Not
This is not a visa for looking for a job or open permission to work for any employer. Visa-free entry does not establish the right to take ordinary local employment.
The separate IT Visa program has its own approval process. Its benefits do not automatically apply to an ordinary work application. Permanent residence has separate requirements.
Next Steps
- Ask the employer to confirm the job and whether you need ordinary work confirmation or qualify for a documented exemption.
- Prepare the proposed contract, salary and qualification records, passport, and other required evidence.
- Obtain the required work and visa approvals and complete registration before starting the authorized job.
