Eligibility

Your employer needs job advertisements, records of shortlisted applicants, and a training plan for a local replacement, sometimes called an understudy. It must also provide company registration, tax records, and any relevant investment license.

Prepare the employment contract, qualifications with the required official authentication, police clearance issued within six months, and the required radiology report—a medical imaging report. Apply through Immigration's current permit process.

Taking a job in Zimbabwe
  1. Confirm the job Ask the employer to support the permit.
  2. Prepare recruitment and personal records Include the local-worker training plan and required checks.
  3. Obtain the permit Follow the approved role and permit dates.

The employer must document local recruitment and training plans.

What This Route Allows

You can live and work in Zimbabwe in the job and for the period covered by the approvals.

What This Route Is Not

A job offer, business visit, or entry visa alone does not authorize employment. The permit does not guarantee unrestricted job changes, work rights for accompanying family, permanent residence, or citizenship.

Next Steps

  1. Confirm the job and the employer's support for the permit.
  2. Gather local-recruitment and training records, company documents, and your contract, qualifications, police, and medical records.
  3. Complete the employment and immigration approvals and follow the conditions for the job.
