Summary
Anguilla's Residence by Investment program offers permanent residence through a contribution to the Capital Development Fund. The current program page lists USD $150,000 for one applicant, plus USD $50,000 for each dependent. This is a contribution, not a recoverable investment. It is the program's residence-only option, so it does not give the holder a right to work.
Eligibility
The Anguilla Economic Residence Act allows an applicant aged at least 18 to apply through an authorized agent based on a proposed qualifying contribution. The applicant and dependents must pass the government's review. The application calls for financial and investment evidence, a bank reference, health and police certificates, due-diligence checks, and the required fees. The agency can give conditional approval before the contribution and other final requirements are completed.
The published starting contribution covers only one applicant. Calculate the amount for every accompanying dependent and budget separately for processing and due-diligence fees. Funds available for a property purchase are not a substitute for the fund contribution under this particular route.
What This Route Allows
Following final approval and completion of the required contribution, the applicant can receive Anguilla permanent-residence documentation. Qualifying family members can be included subject to their own requirements. The program currently advertises no minimum physical-presence requirement to maintain this investor residence; later nationality steps have their own rules.
What This Route Is Not
This route does not authorize local work and does not grant Anguillian status, British Overseas Territories citizenship, or a British passport. The agency lists separate residential-property and business-property options with different financial commitments and work rights.
