Pathways to Kazakhstan Residency and Citizenship
Covered routes include employer-supported C3 work, university study, citizen-spouse and foreign-worker family visas, foreign-income Neo Nomad permission, and the officially supported B9-1 IT specialist visa. Neo Nomad does not permit local employment. B9-1 is a visa to pursue a separate permanent-residence application, not residence approval itself. The current specialist residence pilot is scheduled through December 31, 2026.
See the Central Asia guide and regional comparison for the covered options and their limits.
